General Information
Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Regan are offering a trip to Washington, DC in the summer. This trip is for West Greenwich or Exeter children (and their parents) who are in Grade 7 during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Please note that this is a trip offered to children by invitation the summer after their 7th grade year.
This is a private trip, which means it is not school sponsored.
Trip Updates
Student Phone/Device Policy
Students are allowed to bring their phones or small game devices. They will also need to bring a labeled charger.
Students will be allowed to have their phones so they may take pictures during the tour day. We want the kids to experience the trip and all of the opportunities it provides withouth having their focus on the device. Giving respectful attention to our great tour guides means the phones will be away for some of the tour day. Students will be asked to leave their phones and belongings on the bus for some of our stops. Chaperones can take the pictures at these stops and share with their group later.
Student phones/devices will be collected by a chaperone each night at 10:00 pm and returned after breakfast the next day.
Parents who have to contact their child during the tour day should call/text their child's chaperone or call Tour Central at 800-468-5899. The company will relay your number to Mr. Wallace and you will be connected to your child within just a couple of minutes.
